Knowledge:
W 1- has general knowledge of conformation and physiology of various species of small ruminants (sheep, goats, lamas, alpacas, fallow deer) [BH1 - W11, R1A_W04];
W2 - has general knowledge concerning small ruminants production [BH1 - W07, R1A_W03, R1A_W05, InzA_W01];
W3 - knows basic technologies in small ruminants production [BH1 - W15, R1A_W05, R1A_W03, R1A_W04, InzA_W02];
W4 - has the basic knowledge in the range of manufacturing and obtaining of small ruminants origin products - sheep, goats, lamas, alpacas, fallow deer (milk, meat, wool, skin) [BH1 - W14, R1A_W05, R1A_W02, InzA_W04].
Skills:
U1 - knows the rules and is able to analyze biological processes accompanying small ruminants breeding [BH1 - U05, R1A_U05, InzA_U05, Inza_U07];
U2 - knows the rules and is able to conduct rearing of lambs, goats, lamas, alpacas and fellow deer [BH1 - U06, R1A_U05, InzA_U05, Inza_U07; BH1 - U13, R1A_U05, R1A_U07, InzA_U02I, Inza_U08];
U3 - has an ability of elaboration in Polish language of multimedia presentation concerning reproduction of small ruminants and other issues connected to production of this group of animals [BH1 - U16, R1A_U09];
U4 - demonstrates the care of assurance of proper environmental and welfare conditions to small ruminants [BH1 - U12, R1A_U06, IznA_U01].Competences:

K2 - is able to lead production of sheep, goats, lamas, alpacas, fallow deer in a responsible manner, being aware of proper environment conditions [BH1 - K03, R1A_K03];

Biochemistry, animal anatomy and physiology, genetic, basis of animal feeding.Course content:
Conformation and performance characteristics of sheep, goats, lamas, alpacas, fallow deer. Rules of breeding work conducting. Genetic and environmental factors influencing the level of production of sheeps, goats, lamas, alpacas, fallow deers. Technological and environmental conditions of animals maintenance. Methods of an assessment of wool from various small ruminants species. Designing in a range of sheep, goats, lamas, alpacas, fallow deer breeding and husbandry. Recommended literature:
