Basic life processes of organisms and the mechanisms of regulation and integration functions of animal organisms. Basics of functional anatomy. Excitability and excitable tissues. Electrophysiology. Reflex as a functional unit of the central nervous system. Sensory receptors. Sleep and sleep electroencephalogram. Neurohumoral control systems. Blood - The environment inside the body. Neurophysiological basis of animal behavior. Methods of in vivo and on isolated tissues and organs (in vitro).Recommended literature:

The current rating (based on oral statements) progress and activity, regular (2 times a month) written tests to assess. The presence of the exercises is compulsory, the student may have only one unauthorized absence. In the case of excused absences the student is required to pass the relevant part of the material. Completion of exercises based on the average ratings. Students holding a valid pass a written exam training text (5 questions) in the examination session. The exam takes 90 minutes. If the exam is not the first time pass student has the right to improve the oral exam.
