Skills: Student:
U01- Uses laboratory equipment microscope;

U05 - Evaluates the risk of metabolic disorders;

The typesof metabolic disorders in cattle (pathogenesis, symptoms, diagnosis, prevention). Diagnostic and preventive programs. Blood chemistry in monitoring the health of cattle. The use of rapid diagnostic tests. Use of metabolic profiles to evaluate nutrition. Methods for early diagnosis and prevention of metabolic disorders. Acute phase proteins in health monitoring.Recommended literature:

Attendance at the exercises is mandatory; student can only have one unexcused absence. In the absence excused student is required to pass the relevant part of the material. Current rating (based on oral statements) progress in science (test) and activity. Rating substitution interpretation of the results of laboratory tests and field trials.
Final test based on material from the lectures and exercises (oral response). Students receive a pre-set 40 issues. Student during the test draws 6 questions (3 lecture, 3 of exercise). Positive answer to the 4 questions guaranteed credit. Time twania credit approx. 15 min. If the oral test will not be counted in the first term the student is entitled to re-sit it orally or in writing within a bugfix.Comment:
