Elements of statisticsCourse content:
Populations and samples, hypotheses testing, parameter estimation, experimental design, the most commonly used statistical tests, linear regression, nonlinear regression, determine the quality of the fit equation of linear and nonlinear regression, correlation, elements of statistical modeling, model selection, analysis of variance, analysis of covariance.Recommended literature:

Assessment of labs: The assessment is based on points scored by students during two written tests. A score of minimum 50% of the total score is required to obtain a positive evaluation. The assessment is also affected by the activity of students during the lab. Attendance at the lab is mandatory.
Completion of the course: Students holding a valid credit for labs complete a written (5-10 open questions) or oral exam during the examination period. The written examination lasts up to 90 minutes. During the exam the student has the right to use notes, but cannot communicate with others. If the exam is not passed for the first time the student has the right to retake it.
