Learning outcomes: Knowledge Student knows the basic technical-exploitative and economic determinants related to the proper maintenance and use of technical equipment for the agricultural area objects; has knowledge of the impact of these devices on the environment; understands the fundamental rules of the planning and management of water resources on objects of different agricultural land use; has knowledge that can be used in the process of improving the use and maintenance of the devices, as well as the programming and design of future investments. Skills Student can describe the problem of water management in the agricultural areas by providing the decision variants related to the design, execution and using of technical devices, what determines the effects of the investment project; knows the criteria for evaluation and selection of appropriate solutions in the proper management of water resources.
Competences: Student is aware of the responsibility for the efficient and rational management of water resources; understands the non-economic importance of water to the society.
Prerequisites: drainage, irrigation, hydrotechnical engineering
Course content: The role of exploitation in management strategies, objectives and tasks of the technical equipment exploitation. Scientific basis for the exploitation of technical equipment. Learning about the exploitation of devices as source of knowledge used in the process of improving and maintenance of devices, practical observations and recommendations to the programming and design of future investments. Technical and exploitation processes, basic factors of exploitation of technical devices, exploitation progress as a modern management strategy. The idea of exploitation progress, carriers of progress, the quality evaluation of devices exploitation, operational reliability of technical devices. Characteristics of the condition of technical devices. Evaluation of indicators of operational reliability of devices, examples of the calculation of indicators of operational reliability of devices. Periods of technical exploitation same of devices used in drainage engineering.
