Learning outcomes: Understand the basic laws of electrical circuits for AC and DC; He knows the rules and methods of basic and additional shock protection and has a general knowledge of the basic threats, that may occur in the workplace; He understands the fundamental rights and principles of universal electrically powered devices (one, two and three-phase); Knows how to analytically simple circuits, different methods; It can determine the electrical efficiency of the selected device; Knows how choose the basic the measurement systems for the measurement electrical quantities and apply correctly (measuring current, voltage, power and energy); Able to assess the correct assembly and exploitation electrical equipment (electronic) in modern technique and agriculture;

Competences: Is aware of responsibility for economical and rational the use electric energy for energy-efficient electrical appliances and their properly starting and controls;

Course content: Basic laws of DC circuits, metrology base power, analog and digital multimeters, cells and batteries, magnetic field strength, magnetic circuits, electromagnetic induction, electric circuits single-phase AC, circuit R, L, C, resonance voltage and current, three-phase voltage sources, transformers, power and energy measurements, the elements in electronics, DC motors and AC, DC generators and AC, shock protection, and additional basic

Assessment methods: Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of knowledge: assessment of laboratory plus a written exam, Learning outcomes assessment skills: assessment of measurement systems by combining schematic, assessment reports carried out laboratory exercise, Assessing the effects of training in social skills: working in teams on laboratory exercise, the assessment of awareness and responsibility for the economical and rational use electric energy.
