KNOWLEDGE:
Student aquires theoretical and practical knowledge of rules of sustainable development in agriculture as well as student acquaints with EU policy on sustainable development and protection of agricultural environment. Student has knowledge of regulations in agri-environmental schemes. Student has knowledge of methods of environment protection (water, soil and air) against pollutions from agricultural activity.
SKILLS:
Student becomes skilfull at the choice of agri-environmental schemes to implementation in selected farm, the possibilities of their implementation and how to join them. Student is able to use assumptions of sustainable development to manage farm according to eco-friendly method of production.
Competences:
PERSONAL AND SOCIAL COMPETENCES:
Student understands the relevance of sustainable development as the set of rules for protection of agricultural environment. Student uses acquired knowledge to propagate eco-friendly methods of plant and animal production. Student appreciates the need for training and self-improvement.Prerequisites:

Changes in modern agriculture as the result of global policy of sustainable development, the main rules of sustainable development in agriculture: protection of biodiversity in landscape and ecosystem, the possibilities of reduction of negative results of agricultural production for environment, agri-environmental schemes.Recommended literature:
