Knowledge:
The student knows the basic principles of logistics management and has a general knowledge of materials management, understands the principles of logistics processes’ organization for the security needs. He knows the basic principles of the usage of logistics services potential in rescue operations; he knows the main rules on the usage of human resources as well as hardware and infrastructure for rescue activities.
Skills:
The student is able to describe the problems in the field of logistics resource management; he knows how to identify the basic elements of logistics processes, he can calculate the cost of stocks with particular attention to the cost of their maintenance, he can determine the economic order quantity and is able to plan storage space and means of materials handling.
