Learning outcomes: Students acquire skills to manage different types of companies in agribusiness. Able to independently analyze the surroundings, resources and formulate strategies for your business. He can perform the functions of management: planning, organizing, directing and motivating and the control of the company.
Competences: After passing the course, students can solve problems regarding: company formation, planning and decision making, organizing, directing a team of men, motivating staff and monitoring the performance of the company\\\'s agribusiness. He is prepared to complete an on-line as a manager in a company operating in agribusiness.

Course content: Lecture topics: 1. Basic concepts of organization, management, business. 2. Transformation processes of organizational forms and ownership of enterprises, enterprise - the essence, objectives, types and relationships. 3. Organizational forms - legal business, management bodies. 4. The impact of globalization on the adaptation of companies and business risk. 5. Business environment - the structure and factors affecting the working and business development. 6. Human resource management in the enterprise - management styles. 7. Resource management in property - property. 8. Management of financial resources in the enterprise. 9. Information and Knowledge Management in the enterprise. 10. Planning and decision making in the enterprise. 11. Organizing - types of organizational structures, design and application. 12. Motivating employees in an enterprise. 13. Control of the strategic and operational business performance. 14. The process of negotiation in business management. 15. Dynamic methods in business management. Focus exercises: 1. Legal determinants - economic activity in agribusiness firms. 2. Analysis of the environment in agribusiness firms. 3. Characteristics of different forms of organizational - legal forms of enterprises: - Public authorities and the management companies, cooperatives, - associations ofbusiness . 4. Evaluation and development of the company\\\'s competitive position. 5. Human resources - hiring and motivating employees. 6. Property resources and capital companies. 7. Information resources - acquiring and processing data for management purposes. 8. Strategic and operational planning - the types of plans and procedures development. 9. Decision-making - methods and techniques 10. Organizing - typology, construction and design of organizational structures. 11. Systems to motivate employees and its instruments. 12. Control of strategic and operational performance of the company. 13. Conflict resolution and negotiation. 14. Modern methods of management - a practical use. 15. Ethics manager.
