Knowledge:
The student has theoretical and practical knowledge related to the construction, design and operation of agricultural and forestry vehicles. Explains their impact on the soil environment. He knows the design solutions used in modern agricultural and forestry vehicles. Associates and describes ways to use vehicles as a universal energy sources in agriculture and forestry, and collects news about the principles of their use, taking into account environmental requirements.
Skills:
The student acquires the ability to form aggregates tractor used in the classical terms of agriculture and forestry as well as in terms foothill and mountain areas. Differentiates and acquires the ability to adapt systems of some vehicles to the specific operating conditions, in particular soil of low bearing capacity, including at the base of the turf. Estimates the size of the energy losses generated during operation and familiar methods of minimization. It also defines the economic aspect of the operation of agricultural and forestry vehicles.Competences:
Is aware importance, responsibility and consequences of an engineer towards agricultural and forestry in terms of responsibility for the condition of the soil environment, understand the non-technical aspects of the business.Prerequisites:

Characteristics of European market of agricultural and forestry vehicles. The division and functional characteristics of agricultural and forestry vehicles. Structure and the theoretical basis for the action of selected components of agricultural and forestry vehicles. The basic of vehicles exploitations in mountain and submontain territory.
