Grade component – exercises: during the semester two written tests scored in points; scored oral presentation on avian anatomy or poultry production, evaluated activity during the class. Obligatory attendance in exercises. In case of absence (followed by an excuse note) – the need for passing the adequate part of material. Grade level depends on the average number of obtained points.
KNOWLEDGE:W1-W4 will be assessed as the average notes of following components: results of two written 20-30 minutes control tests; activity and oral answers during classes; presentation of self-prepared papers. At every written test student has to answer to three questions. Required minimum to pass test positively (note 3) is 60%; note 5 (the highest) - 90-100% of correct answers; 4 -70-80%.
SKILLS: U1-U3 will be assessed during practical exercised carried out in aviary, in laboratories and field classes.
PERSONAL AND SOCIAL COMPETENCES: K1-K3 will be scored on the basis of student’s behavior and attitude during classes realized with animals and laboratory equipment.
Completion of the course: Completion of the lectures and exercises together, based on the average ratings obtained from two short (20-30 minutes) written control tests and student’s activity during the classes. The presence on the classes is compulsory, the student may have only one unauthorized absence.
