Polish / EnglishThe course taught in English if the group has ≥6 students. The course taught in Polish with a possibility of support in English if the group has <6 students. Learning outcomes:
Knowledge: Student knows methods of training sporthorses and racehorses, knows the principle of maintenance and transport of horses with the requirements welfare.
Skills: student is aware with selection of suitable horses for different equestrian disciplines and different types of racing,
with safe transport of horses by various kinds of transport
and with specific design solutions of stables, paddocks and pastures. Competences:
Student: understands the importance of the "horse" industry for the country's economy, can manage selection of the horses, can organize training of horses of various purposes. Prerequisites:

Rating usable horses of different types and breeds, analysis of sport performance in a variety of equestrian disciplines, analysis of racing results, breeding selection programs, performance tests for mares and stallions, the organization of utility tests, horse welfare.Recommended literature:

4. Programy hodowlane PZHK.Assessment methods:
Test of skill U1, U2 and U3 will be conducted during a practice on WTWK Partynice. The basis for the classification is feature of horses and evaluation of technical and transport facilities. Competencies K1, K2 and K3 will be verified with tests written, based on 10 questions. To pass required is to get 60% of correct answers Attendance at school is compulsory; tolerated is only 1 unexcused absence. Absences (up to 3) are classified on the basis of a written development of missing classes.
Knowledge W1 and W2 will be revised on the basis of the project, concerning the training and selection one of the chosen breeds (70 % of project to pass). Knowledge W3 will verify the written test, consisting of 5 open questions. To pass is required correct answer to three questions.
The basis for passing class is positive grade for the exercises course.Comment:
