The student purchases about chosen the knowledge the problems of the process engineering (the connected with exchange of speed processes and heat transfer, distillation, extraction, absorption, crystallization and the drying in industry).Competences:

Theory of flows. Dynamics of fluidized bed. Theory of disintegration. Hydraulic and air – operated transportation. Heat transfer. Phase transitions. Interfacial phenomena. Separation liquids susceptibility to overheating. Vacuum distillation. Molecular distillation. Steam distillation. Rectification, absorption and desorption systems. Extraction (apparatus, columns, solvents). Calculation of mass transfer coefficients. Drying. Crystallization (kinetics of phase, apparatus and optimization).Recommended literature:
