Knowledge:
student has general knowledge about the use of the horses in ecological agriculture, forestry and entertainment industry; student knows the possibilities of horse’s work in protected areas, without without harming the environment; student has knowledge of the value of horse meat and milk and their production.
Skills:
student assesses the suitability of the horses for the use in various fields of work; student has the ability to determine the productivity and setting of norms of work horses, in diverse environmental conditions; student evaluates and controls the welfare of horses, working in agriculture, forestry and recreation.
Competences:
Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors):
student is aware of the importance of ecological agriculture and production of organic food.

using of horse in ecological agriculture and forest transport, estimation of workings abilities and their improvement, setting of norms of work, modern equestrian machines, principles of the pack use, methods of fattening and their recoupment, value and quality of horse meat, description of milk of mare and possibility of his acquisition; organization of breeding shows and commercial spectacles, safety of people and animals during the spectacles, methods of control and estimation of horse’s welfare.Recommended literature:

Assessment methods:
Two written tests and oral presentation prepared in groups of 2 people. Final grade will be calculated as arithmetic mean of 3 assessments (2 written test and 1 presentation).Comment:
