Learning outcomes: After completing the course student is familiar with the main trends in current biotechnology. The student knows main aims and methods for creating animal and plant GMO’s.
Competences: The student is aware of the advantages and risks of genetic modification of animal and plant organisms. He is able to describe objectives for creating GMOs and their practical and biotechnological application.
Prerequisites: -
Course content: Therapeutical expression systems. Creating GMOs. Animal as bioreactirs. Methodes and technuiques used for production of genetically modyfied animal and plant organisms with the use of genetic engeenieering.
