Knowledge:
The student knows the basic technical, environmental and economic conditions which determine the location of water management facilities; knows the basic principles of water resources management; knows the principles of objects functioning; knows the basic method of water intaking and wastewater treatment; knows the system of flood protection and competences of emergency management structures.
Abilities:
Student is able to identify the positive and negative aspects of functioning of water management objects; is able to determine the impact of an object on the environment; can prepare general maintenance guidelines; is able to propose basic technical treatment that affects proper maintenance; is able to assess technical condition of objects.
Competences:
The student is aware of the risk taken in an emergency and critical situations; feels responsible for the economical and rational management of water resources; understands the role of water management objects in the development of society.Prerequisites:
