Learning outcomes: Knowledge defines the basic concepts in biochemistry [BI_W11]; recognizesthe basic biomolecules associated with the relevant metabolic pathways [BI_W06]; explains the relationships between major metabolic pathways and ways toregulate them [BI_W06; BI_W09]; Skills combines the basicbiomolecules with the relevant metabolic pathways [BI_U05]; examines therelationships between the major biochemical pathways [BI_U05]; usesbasic biochemistry laboratory techniques [BI_U02]. Personal and social competeces (attitudes) hasentrusted the responsibility for laboratory equipment [BI_K07]; is aware of theimportance of compliance with safety rules in a biochemical laboratory [BI_K07].
