The student has knowledge of the area of plant cell biology. Has knowledge of the organization of the plant cell, the cell components and plant tissues.The student has a general knowledge of botany, for construction of plant organisms and methods of microscopic analysis of plant material. The student has a basic knowledge of natural phenomena, including physiological, cellular and molecular basis of plant functioning of the body. Has knowledge in order to independently perform microscopic observation and evaluation of plant tissues. Aware of methods to acquire the latest information on cell biology. Competences:
Understands the need to work in interdisciplinary teams especially. Knowledge of the biology of the cell causes the student is able to think and act creatively in the practical use of plant biotechnology. Is aware of the need for continuous training and improvement of the knowledge in the field of cell biology and botany. Feels responsible for the equipment. Basic research techniques and the construction of eukaryotic cells of their properties and functions of the organelles, including observation and analysis of the properties of cell membranes and cytoskeleton structure and function of the nucleus, mitochondria, peroxisomes, the plastids and the endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and a matrix of intracellular vacuoles plant cells.
