Knowledge:
W1 – student knows the various stages and methods of planning experiments [BI2_W02];
W2 – student has knowledge of the field of application of selected statistical packages in planning biological experiment [BI2_W03]
Skills:
U1 – the student is able to plan and carry out research tasks in the field of biology and bioinformatics independently and as part of group work [BI2_U05];
U2 – student is able to plan a biological experiment [BI2_U06]
Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors):
K1 – student is aware of responsibility for the tasks performed jointly by a team [BI_K02];
K2 – student is able to properly identify priorities leading to the implementation of the tasks set by himself or other students [BI2_K03];

Assessment methods:
Assessment Exercise: regular (1-2 times a month) written tests and ongoing assessment activities, the presence during the exercises is mandatory, the student may have only one unexcused absence, in the case of an excused absence, the student is required to pass the relevant part of the material
Completion of the course: students with a valid credit for a tutorial undergo a theoretical exam; the examination lasts up to 90 minutes; if the exam is not passed, a student has the right to retry it
