Learning outcomes: The student has a basic knowledge of biology necessary for understanding the relationship between structure and function at the cellular level, tissues and individual organisms. It describes the structure of animal organisms at every organizational level. He knows the basic physiological processes and the functioning of tissues and organs. He knows the basics of the systematics and distinguishes between animal taxa at various levels of the organization . Recognizes and classifies basic taxa and groups of organisms; in the basic range of uses laboratory techniques used in medicine plants; maintains the principle of safety in the laboratory and in the field
Competences: He understands the need for learning and lifelong training in relation to the plants and environment protection
Prerequisites: Biology at the secondary school level
Course content: Basis for classification, taxonomy and phylogeny of animals. The morphology, anatomy and life functions, adaptation to the environment. Biology. A systematic review of single and multicellular organisms. The importance of selected groups of animals in ecosystems, particularly in a man-made ecosystems.
