Knowledge:
The student has an elementary knowledge of the components and types of automatic control systems used in food processing. The student has knowledge to be able to select a typical devices used in automatic control systems and knows types of technical solutions commercially available.
Skills:
The student understands the technical texts and diagrams in the field of automatic control systems. The student can solve technical problems with specialists in the field of automatic control systems. The student can choose typical measurement instruments and control system to accomplish certain engineering task Being supervised, the student can perform simple research and design tasks. Competences:
Social skills (Attitude):
The student understands that continuous improvement of professional competences is necessary resulting from technical progress. The student works in a team and he can manage it. He takes responsibility for effects of the team work. The student can describe priorities for performing certain research and design tasks. Prerequisites:

Mathematical models of automatic objects and systems. Coding and signal transmission. Measurement control by means of computer. Sensors, converters, measurement elements and recording devices.
