The student knows the chemistry among other sciences OŚ1_W03
Knows the basic laws of inorganic chemistry, as the construction and properties of basic inorganic chemicals.
Knows basic calculation methods used in environmental sciences.
Skills:
The student is able to observe the rules of safety in the laboratory.
Performs basic measurements of the size of the chemical.

Prerequisites:
Basic chemistry from secondary school.Course content:
Periodic table content and reading of important informations. Dissociation of acids, bases and salts. Hydrolysis of the salt. Redox reactions. Amphoteric bases - preparation and properties. Molar concentrations and rates, convert concentrations. Calculating the pH of weak and strong acids, bases and buffer solutions. Water hardness: importance, types, methods of removing. Recommended literature:
