Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student has an extensive knowledge in systems, the technology, techniques, devices and tools used in the agricultural and forest production, including the knowledge essential to their design and use. Skills: The student is able to plan and to carry out experiments, including measurements and computer simulations, as well as to interpret achieved results and to draw conclusions; the student is able to use simulations as well as experimental and analytical methods for formulating and solving engineering problems.
Competences: The student is aware of the need of the self-improvement and constant training oneself in his profession.
Prerequisites: Basic PC skills
Course content: Digital control. PLC - structure and the principles of operation. Principles of designing control systems. Methods and programming languages of PLC drivers. The automation of processes of the plant and animal production, storage and agricultural products processing.
