Knowledge:
W1-Have a general knowledge on the components and their properties which are used for the manufacturing of complete mixtures and premixes [BH1-W08; R1A_W03].
W2-Graduate has the substantial knowledge about the principles of manufacturing and application of mixtures and premixes in animal production for particular groups of animals [BH1-W14; R1A_W05].
W3-Is able to use such basic knowledge on the production rules, application of mixtures and premixes in livestock production for the main species (poultry, pigs, cattle) [BH1-W22; R1A_W09].
Skills:
U1-Is able to choosethe suitable raw materials for the production commercial mixtures and premixes [BH1-U08; R1A_U06].
U2-Is able to assess the value of vegetable, animal and mineral raw materials and independently create the recipes of commercial mixtures and premixes [BH1-U11; R1A_U06].Competences:

Graduate learns the substantial characteristics of the energetic, proteinous and mineral-vitamin raw materials used for manufacturing of commercial mixtures and premixes. Acquires the knowledge on the feed additives for ruminants and monogastric animals and learn the effects which can be expected after their application. Recognizes the kinds of feed mixtures, concentrates and premixes, according to the EU classification for different groups of animals.
Knows the substantial principles of mixtures and premixes calculation intended for particular groups of animals, acquires the knowledge about the threats followed from the antinutritive substances and mycotoxins presence as well as learn about methods to reduce their toxic activity.Recommended literature:
