Knowledge:
Student gains practical information concerning the exploitation of machine units used in field plant production. It defines basic concepts of the theory of technical systems exploitation. Recognizes the operating systems and methods of technical diagnostics. Defines the concept of limit states, durability and reliability elements of agricultural machinery. Acquires the knowledge of the proper use of machine units in terms of the technology of production. Defines the basic parameters of quality, performance and energy consumption of machines and acquires knowledge about the methods collating agricultural units and methods for designing of machinery and basic technological processes.
Skills:
The student acquires the ability to apply the appropriate nomenclature in the operation and use of agricultural machine units. Differentiates exploitation systems and has the ability collating machine units in different production technologies. Acquires the ability to determine key indicators and operating coefficients and parameters describing the quality of work. Has the ability to designing the basic technological processes in engineering of field agricultural production.Competences:
Social competence:
The student demonstrates understanding of the basic principles of proper operation and use of agricultural equipment. Evaluates the parameters of productivity and quality of machines work. Evaluates and explains the principles of correct collating of machine units and appreciates methods for reducing energy consumption during the work. Knowledge of the principles for the regulation use of agricultural machinery in order to improve quality and productivity and reduce the negative impact on the rural environment. It shows the necessity of self-improvement and training in the use of modern technological solutions.Prerequisites:

The basic concepts of the theory of operation of technical systems. Exploitation systems, reliability, tribology, technical diagnostics and basics of safety work agricultural and forestry machinery. The principles of collating agricultural units, the choice of energy sources and energy balance. Evaluation of productivity and the quality of units work and the principles of its movement. Basics of exploitation of simple and units in typical agricultural and forestry work. Basics of designing of the machinery and technological processes. Recommended literature:
