Knowledge: W1 - Student has general knowledge about the use of the horses in ecological agriculture, forestry and entertainment industry;
W2 - knows the possibilities of horse’s work in protected areas, without harming the environment;
W3 - student has knowledge of the value of horse meat and milk and their production.
Skills: Student U1 - assesses the suitability of the horses for the use in various fields of work;
U2 - has the ability to determine the productivity and setting of norms of workhorses, in diverse conditions;
U3 - evaluates and controls the welfare of horses, working in agriculture, forestry and recreation.Competences:

Using of horse in ecological agriculture and forest transport, estimation of workings abilities and their improvement, setting of norms of work, modern equestrian machines, principles of the pack use, methods of fattening and their recoupment, value and quality of horse meat, description of milk of mare and possibility of his acquisition; organization of breeding shows and commercial spectacles, safety of people and animals during the spectacles, methods of control and estimation of horse’s welfare.Recommended literature:

Verification of skills U1 and U3 will be carried out during field work at the farm and at the show. The basis of assessment is the correct characteristics of horses and the assessment of evaluation of technical facilities. Competence K1 and skill U2 will be assessed on the basis of presentation, showing the selected use of horses.
Attendance at school is obligatory, tolerated is only 1 unexcused absence. Absences (up to 3) are classified on the basis of a written development of missing classes.
The basis for passing class is the average ratings (minimum knowledge resource for inclusion -60%). Knowledge W1 will be assessed on the basis of a multimedia presentation, showing the selected use of horses; knowledge W2,W3 will be verified on a written test, based on 5 open questions. To pass required is to get 60% of correct answers.Comment:
