Knowledge: Student W1 - has general knowledge concerning the equipment and data storage devices in information technologies .
W2 - understands mechanisms of processing and recording of IT data, their arrangement in database programs and projection in a
form of computer printouts and multimedia presentations .
Skills: Student U1- knows modern devices connected to information technology, rules of their operating and basic microcomputer software related to an everyday creation, storage and processing of computer data.Competences:
K1- Student is able to interact in a group, taking various roles.Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of microcomputer equipment operating gained during education in secondary schools of humanistic,
mathematic-natural and technical profile.Course content:
Up-to-date information technologies tools: text and graphic editors, presentation programs, databases. Information exchange between
network users.Recommended literature:

Masteringthe principles of operating equipment associated with information technology and software, necessary for creating,
collecting and processing data (U1)allow theverification ofknowledge(W1 and W2) on 2 practical exams on the computer (tasks and
quizzes).Competence (K1) will be checked at the last lesson in which TEAMS (all members play their roles in the team and participate
in the implementation of the topic) produce, together prepared presentation.
Presence onthe exercises is mandatory; student can only have one unexcused absence. When absence is excused, student is required
to pass the appropriate part of the material.
Assessment of exercises isbased on average grade. The rating scale and the percentage of good answers: 3.0 - 55%; 3.5 - 65%; 4 - 70%,
4.5 - 85%, 5.0 - 90%
Passingthe course on the basis of exercise pass. The prerequisites to obtain an average of 3,0 in all established learning outcomes.Comment:
