Knowledge
Possesses systematic and theoretically reinforced general knowledge in the area of spatial economy; possesses basic knowledge regarding the legal basis of spatial planning and development in Poland; possesses basic knowledge regarding the legal system in the area of spatial planning in Poland, knows the hierarchy of planning documents and the manner in which they are formulated, knows the principles of social participation in the process of formulating such documents; is familiar with the areas where spatial economy is used within the domain of real estate economy.
Abilities
Can design a simple urban layout, estimate the approximate economic impact of actions undertaken within space by indicating the potential size of the planning fee; can retrieve information from literature and databases indispensable in design work in the field of geodesy and spatial planning and knows how to provide an oral presentation dealing with specific design aspects in the area of spatial planning.
Social competence (attitudes)
Knows the importance behind making decisions related to spatial development and understands the extra-technical aspects and consequences of such decisions, including environmental impact, safety and responsibility.

The spatial economy system. Spatial policy on the level of the state, the voivodeship, the municipality. The study of the determinants and directions of the spatial development of a municipality document. The role of the document in the spatial policy of a municipality, its content and formulation principles. The role and importance of the local plan and the areas where the plan is used within the domain of spatial economy and real estate economy. Plan drawing scale. The manner of establishing a local spatial development plan. The impact of the plan's provisions on real estate value. Additional studies in the procedure of formulating a local plan. The spatial economy in a municipality with no operative local spatial development plan: decision on land development and management conditions, decision on building permission for a public purpose investment.
