Knowledge
Student:
W1- knows the basicrights and issues related to genetics and the basics of classical inheritance [BC1_W09];
W2 - distinguishesmechanisms of inheritance of quantitative and qualitative traits, and clarifies the differences predict offspring traits [BC1_W09];
W3 - understands the importanceof genetic polymorphism [BC1_W09];
W4- understandsand explains substrate fundamental biological variability (biodiversity). Explains its relationship with environmental factors inanimate [BC1_W14].
Skills
Student:
U1- analyzes thegenetic and environmental determinants of the structure and function of the human body and its parts. Develops and prepares individuals crossing models with different characteristics and on this basis provides their occurrence in the offspring [BC1_U08];
U2- takes the appropriate decisionsabout the selection of biological and anthropological research techniques and can be applied in practice [BC1_U12];
U3- learnsindependentlyin a targeted manner [BC1_U14].Competences:
Social attitudes and competences
Student:
K1 - updates the knowledge of genetics and related disciplines, and is aware of update their knowledge throughout their lives [BC1 - K01]Prerequisites:
Course content:
geneticdetermination of the characteristics of living organisms with particular emphasis on human inheritance and variability of qualitative and quantitative factors, mutagenic, epigenetics, immunogenetics, genetics process of sexual characteristics, introduction to molecular biology, genomics and population geneticsRecommended literature:

student who has completed the exercise, effective written examination, during which you should answer the questions presented in the form of problems to solve. If the exam you will fail in the first period, the student has the right to take it again in the second period.
Classes assesment:
written tests to assess the current rating (based on oral statements) progress and activity. The presence of the exercises is compulsory. In the case of excused absences the student is required to pass the relevant part of the material. Completion of exercises based on the average ratings.Comment:
