Knowledge:
The student has a basic knowledge of horticultural crops and their natural requirements.
Knows the most important machinery and equipment used in the production of ornamental plants, fruit and vegetable.
Know the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables, and understands their role in human nutrition.
Can recognize basic ornamental plants and apple varieties on the basis of their diagnostic features R1TRL_W07.
It has a basic knowledge of ecological methods of production of vegetables and fruits, with the protection of the environment.
Skills:
The student has the basic skills associated with the production of the most important horticultural plant species and is able to assess its impact on human health and the environment.
Competences:
The student is aware of the responsibility for the production of high quality horticultural crops and the introduction of farming methods which take into account environmental protection Prerequisites:

The nutritional value of fruits and vegetables. Environmental requirements of horticultural plants. The methods of propagation and cultivation methods of horticultural plants. Principles of integrated production of vegetables and fruits. Economic characteristics of plants, economic characteristics and diagnostic fruit. Mechanization in horticultural production.
