Learning outcomes: student acquires knowledge of history, types and operating of support systems in agriculture. Student knows basic computer tools.Student explains the role of decision support systems in modern agriculture. Student associates and describes Internet tools and computer programmes supporting farm activities. Student uses individual decision support systems to take optimal activities both during threat caused by agrophages and in investment activities.
Competences: Student appreciates the relevance of unceasing training and self-improvement. MR1A_K04 Student is responsible for equipment. MR1A_K07 Student is able to work independently and cooperate in team playing varying roles, understand the social importance of prevention in plant protection.
Prerequisites: Principles of crop (field) production
Course content: Modern computer technologies connected with decision support systems in agriculture. Advisory programmes, decision support systems in selected tillage practices, Internet decision support system for plant protection and agrophages signalling system. Programming of technology in farms, supporting of filling up applications.
