Learning outcomes: Knowledge Student knows the characteristics of an entrepreneur; knows the organizational and legal forms of companies; knows the rules of motivation; knows the barriers of communication and components of the communication process; knows the basis of a decision of the manufacturer; knows the types of costs. Skills Can justify decisions of manufacturer; is able to calculate the profit or loss; can analyze the environment; can indicate subjects of business environment; can prepare a business plan.

Competences: Student can start a business and obtain the necessary information to that end; in connection with the dynamic transformation of the environment understands the need for learning throughout life.

Prerequisites: -

Course content: Entrepreneurship in the literature. The evolution of the role of the entrepreneur. Attributes of entrepreneurship. The company - the evolution of economic and legal forms of business. Fundamentals of motivation. The role of the leader. Management styles. Interpersonal communication. Sources of business financing. Decisions of manufacturer. The production function. Costs in the enterprise. Financial result. The location of economic activity - the impact of the environment on development. The role of local governments in promoting entrepreneurship. Starting a business - practical considerations.
