PolishLearning outcomes:
Student will get the theoretical and practical knowledge on the source of waste in animal production. Student knows their physical and chemical property as well as the methods of their modification. He also knows the assortment of the fertilizers produced of with or share of those waste. He is able to assess the influence of the waste on the environment – contaminationof the atmosphere, soil, waters, as well as and quality on the quantity of the obtained fodder.
The knowledge of the chemical composition of the waste and standards of their quality that student obtained will permit him to create the rules of their natural use. Student is able to assess the influence of used fertilization with wastes on the quantity and quality of the yieldof the plant feed. Competences:
Students reveal the knowledge of the methods of setting of wastes’ chemical composition. He is able to evaluate their value, as well as compile recommendationsof their use. Students able to work in team. Can assess and explainthe influence of used fertilization on the quantity and quality of received yield of the plant feed. He abides by the rules of hygieneand safetywhen storing and using the fertilizers. He reveals the responsibility for the equipmentin his deposit. Prerequisites:
Soil Science, the basis of plant production Course content:
The sources of formation, chemical composition of the wastes received during animal production (animal breeding, processingof animal materials), capabilities of utilization for fertilization and recultivation according to the legal regulations.
