Learning outcomes: Knowledge and skills: Student receives skills to assess the effect of environmental and agrotechnological factors on soil degradation.
Competences: After passing the course student is able to take a job connected with protection of agricultural environment.
Prerequisites: Soil science, botany, plant physiology
Course content: Course contents: Knowledge about habitat. Soil diseases. Agricultural properties of ploughland as a soil degradation indem. Ecological and productive results of simplifications in tillage. Conservation tillage. Antierosion tillage. Negative and positive meaning of weeds. Functions of crop rotations in modern agriculture.Crop rotation diseases. Specialized crop rotations. Criteria of crop rotation assessement. Agrotechnological methods of soil protection under intensive soil management. Problem of fallows.Pro-organic agricultural systems. Polish Code of Good Agricultural Practice.
