Knowledge: W01 – student has general knowledge about market and its functioning
W02 – student defines supply and demand
W03 – student knows the basic concept of inflation, unemployment and business cycles
W04 – student has knowledge of the specific economic conditions of animal and plant production
W05 – student knows the general principles of creation and development of various forms of individual entrepreneurship, including useful in the animal husbandry
Skills: U01 – student is able to include economic aspects in the projects related to animal husbandry
U02 – student is able to perform simple calculations of costs, reveneus and profits or losses useful in animal husbandry business
U03 – student uses information gained from the market to adjust to the changing economic environment affecting for animal husbandry business
U04 – student decides on scale of production, selection and re-profile activities in the animal husbandry business Competences:

The concept of economics, types of economies, the market and its mechanism of action, demand and supply and its determinants, competition in the economy and market structures, enterprise and its environment, cost, revenue and profits, money, inflation and unemployment, cyclical economic processes, the specificity of the agribusiness.Recommended literature:

Completion of the course: students enrolled in the course valid written credit (19 closed test questions, 2 open test questions and 3 tasks) in a class session. Examination takes 45 minutes. If writing approach is not passed in the first term, the student has the right to re-sit them orally or in writing form during the exam session.Comment:
