Student is able to illustrate economics optimizing problems using a mathematical model.
Student solves optimizing problem.
Student makes a simple economical analysis using mathematical models, which aid a decision process in a company.

Construction of an econometric model (choice of variables, analytical form, estimation of parameters), demand, supply, analysis of balance, production functions (linear, Cobba-Douglas, CES), cost functions, distributions of incomes (normal, log-normal, Pareto).Recommended literature:
