Knowledge:
Student after completing the course can describe the basic processes used in water and wastewater technology - differentiate between the stages of technological processes - recognizes the principles characterizing the various technological processes - student is able to explain the principles of the design process, water and wastewater systems, and energy. student can choose the right plant for the system of water and wastewater.
Skills:
The student knows at the completion of the specifications and rules prevailing in the laboratory for the primary analysis of water, can carry the balance of water and wastewater, and energy in a plant food, can calculate the demand for water existentially-economic, technological and electricity, can design a system of water supply and sewage plant in the food industry, able to assess the factors affecting the water and wastewater and energy in the plant.

Demonstrates understanding of the complexity of phenomena and processes that characterize the status of water - is aware of the responsibility for jointly executed tasks in the team - show concern for the purity of water - to minimize water and energy consumption.
