Learning outcomes: Knowledge Student knows the type and purpose of the documents included in the estimate documentation; familiar with the applicable regulations and standards of costing; knows what are the types of estimates of construction and understands their importance in the construction process; knows the rules and methods of costing work. Skills Student can develop Takeoff and investment cost estimate includes typical construction; knows how to interpret and use the data contained in the database of normative cost estimate works; can practically use the program Norm PRO.
Competences: Student has a sense of responsibility for the efficient and rational management of resources for the construction works.

Course content: Importance of estimate documentation in the investment process. Legal basis for costing. Types of estimates. Layout and content estimate. Methods of costing. Rules of BOQ works. Technical regulation. Working hours. Standard materials consumption. Labor standards machines. The formula of estimate price. The calculation of the price of labor, the estimated value of materials, working construction equipment. Computer-aided costing.

Assessment methods: completion of lectures on the assessment on the basis of a written test. Passing classes on the basis of made stimation and the evaluation of the test.
