Knowledge:
has elementary knowledge about the natural environment and its endangering. Has general knowlegde about the technologies of the management of renewable energies and waste.
Skills:
Can gather and process information from various sources. Is able to draw logical conclusions and clearly formulate opinions. Is able to assess both technical processes and it effects on the environment and society. Is able to find solutions for problems in the field of sustainable energy production and waste management.

Competences:
Understands the need to know the capabilities and continuous training (studies II and III degree, postgraduate courses) - raising professional competence, personal and social. Is aware of the importance, responsibility and consequences of engineering activities towards renewable energy sources and waste management in terms of responsibility for the quality of life for people and the environment.

The course deals with communicating environmentally benign behaviour. Analysis of the application of the Triada model – human behaviour in a pro-environmental context. Strategy for the improvement of separate collection results and application thereof to specific waste generating stakeholder groups.
Problems of the planning of investments in the field of renewable energy production or waste processing (NIMBY: Not In My BackYard lub BANANA: Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything). .

Assessment of education effects in terms of knowledge: credit of written exam, credit of all tutorials.
Assessment of education effects in terms of skills: results analysis and interpretation of collected data.
