Learning outcomes: Knowledge: a) explains the role of ergonomics in designing of safety and comfortable work places – R1 OŹE_W16 b) shows types of hazard that are present on work places - R1 OŹE_W16 c) knows the influence of dangerous factors that are present at work on human body - R1 OŹE_W16 c) associates types of hazard with their potential consequences - R1 OŹE_W16 d) shows types of works that are the subjects of author`s rights - R1 OŹE_W16 Skills: shows the existing hazards on work places - R1 OŹE_U10 determines means for protection people from the consequences of hazard - R1 OŹE_U10

Prerequisites: Mathematics, Physics, Human biology on the high school level
Course content: Ergonomics as an interdisciplinary science. Human – Machine System. Geometry of work places. Thermal and atmospheric work environment. Noise. Vibration. Physical and psychical work loading. Chemical and biological hazards at a work places. Occupational stress. Accidents hazards. Authors` rigths.
