Learning outcomes: Knowledge: _ student knows the function of organisms at the level of subcellular, cellular and tissue [BI_W01, BI_W04, BI_W06, BI_W09, BI_W11]; - knows and interprets the phenomena occurring in different types of cells during development, functioning and reproduction of organisms pro-and eukaryotes [BI_W01, BI_W04, BI_W06, BI_W09, BI_W11]. Skills: - student differentiates animal cells from plant and bacterial [BI_U02; BI_U12]; - indicates differences in the structure of their membranes, cytoskeletal elements, intercellular signaling, energy conversion, catalysis, biosynthesis, structure and function of proteins, the organization of transport across membranes [BI_U02; BI_U12].

Competences: Completion of the course makes possible to work in cytological laboratory and to lead research about cell build and functioning.

Prerequisites: biochemistry
