Learning outcomes: Knowledge: - studentknows which organisms can be good bioindicators [BI_W02; BI_W03], - knows the group of indicator organisms [BI_W01], - knows basic biological indexes on which you can make environmental assessment [BI_W013]. Skills: - studentknows the safety rules in the field and laboratory, distinguishes important indicator organisms [BI_U02], - can be assessed the environment on the basis of biological elements [BI_U12], - is able to plan and carry out toxicity tests using indicator organisms [BI_U06]. Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors): - student canengage in teamwork, both as a participant in the activities, as well as a team leader, is aware of the responsibility for task jointly implemented in a team [BI_K02].
Competences: Passing this course permitting work in Environmental Agency.
Prerequisites: Zoology, botany
Course content: Bioindicators - plants, invertebrates and vertebrates; making biological indexes; kind of biological indexes, calculating of biological indexes.
