Learning outcomes: The student knows the surveying and construction laws. The student knows the theoretical and practical principles for the measurement execution and inventory. The student knows the different measurement methods used for the implementation of surveying service of investment. Skills The student has mastered how to operate precise surveying equipment. The student is able to use surveying programs serving for calculation and visualization of data obtained from field measurements. The student knows the rules for preparing survey documentations and is able to carry out the precision evaluation and geometric interpretations of the results of measurements
Competences: The student is aware of the importance of proper preparation of a mapping documentation for design purposes and the importance of fair conduct measurements related to the construction of buildings and as-built measurements.
Prerequisites: The student has knowledge of detailed geodetic surveys I and II, from field exercises for these subjects, adjustment calculus and electronic measurement techniques.
Course content: During the course the student will learn to make a choice of measurement methods used in surveying investment services and perform surveying observations (stakeout, inventory measurements) using surveying instruments to guarantee efficient and accurate completion of appropriate measuring task under the relevant legislation. Getting to know the rules of the investment process, in the field of surveying service of investment in relation to the law. Getting familiar with the maps used in the investment process. Discussion of the principles of cooperation with different units and investors during the investment. Survey works during the execution of buildings and industrial buildings, compiling the geodetic and cartographic documentation. Surveying services of investment on the example of: transport, slender, linear objects and bridges. Architectural inventory of associated with the revitalization of buildings and degraded areas.
