Learning outcomes: After course completion In area of knowledge 1. Student has a basic knowledge of the biology of plants and animals and microorganisms, knows the stages of development and principles of evolution organisms in nature and culture, has knowledge about the mechanisms, factors and rights micro-and macro-evolution. In area of skills 1. Student analyzes the evolutionary and biological processes associated with animal husbandry practices the basic research methods in evolutionary the nature and the culture experiment.

Competences: 1. Student understands the need for learning throughout life, showing understanding of evolutionary phenomena in nature and conditions domesticated.

Prerequisites: -

Course content: Evolution – biological occurrence, the history of the formation of the idea of evolution, Darwin's theory of evolution, artificial selection (formation of races) and natural selection, the history of the life formation, the history of the development of biota, the factors and mechanisms of evolution, micro and makro evolution, progression and regression in the evolution, evolution in onto and phylogenesis, law and regularity of evolution, the modern theory of evolution.

Assessment methods:

Comment: Students having the final score from tutorials are oral statements in a session examining board. Minimum required knowledge for passing: 60%. If the exam is not passed in the first period, the student has the right to pass it again in oral or writing form during repeat examination.
