During the course students acquire a knowledge of techniques, methods and using of plants and animals cell and tissue cultures and practical abilities in basic range enabling conduct cultivating cellular. Particularly, ability of set-up acquires and conducts of short-term cellular cultivating (selection proper utensil and growth media), preparation of chromosome preparations, chromosome banding and analysis of karyotypes. Competences:
Passing the course permits working in diagnostic laboratory and lead cytogenetic research.

Material used in cytogenetics and kind of tissue cultures, plant cell and tissue cultures, animal cell and tissue cultures, usefulness of cell and tissue culture in biology, medicine and veterinary medicine, preparation and banding chromosome slides (conventional stain and banding stain, FISH), karyograms and their analysis, cytogenetic diagnostic of animals and human, techniques of banding of germ cells.Recommended literature:
