Learning outcomes: After completing the course student will be familiar with the knowledge on the organization, control and management the ecological systems of animals nutrition.
Competences: Student is ready to conduct the production of ecological feed and food and can be employed as an advisor of this kind of activity.
Prerequisites: Substantials of animal nutrition, feed production and management.
Course content: Characteristic of feeds applied in ecological feeding systems, use of ecological pastures. Methods of feed conservation, Decreasing of N emission from swine, poultry and cattle through correct ration balancing, minimization of use of various preparations (feed additives). Law regulations of ecological feeding systems.

Jamroz, PWN Warszawa,2001; Specjalistyczne czasopisma z zakresu żywienia bydła, świń i drobiu (krajowe i zagraniczne): Polskie Drobiarstwo, Hodowca Drobiu, Hodowca Trzody Chlewnej i Bydła, Trzoda Chlewna, World Poultry, Poultry International, Pig International, Feed International itp.); Akty prawne dotyczące ekologicznej produkcji rolniczej, wydawane przez MRiRW od 2003 r.
Assessment methods: Written exam, min. 70% of knowledge to pass.
