This course provides the student with a deeper insight into biological methods and processes used in water treatment, biological remediation methods of environmental wastes, biological treatments of different kinds of wastes. Competences:
Students obtain the following skills:
- possessing a thorough knowledge on biotechnological techniques in the framework of re-use of polluted liquid and solid matrices
- the competence to comprehend and didactically explain bioprocess technology
- the engineering approach in the context of process design,
- a view on novel and emerging bio-technologies enables the students to implement the correct technology now and in the future.
