after completing the course student knows what mechanisms regulate animal behaviour, how to observe and to recognize different forms of animal behaviour and also in which way to interpret results of those observations and properly deal with them. Competences:
Passing the course permits conducting behavioural investigations of animals, understanding of mechanisms regulating reactions of animals and selecting the proper method to deal with them.Prerequisites:

Physiological basis of animals’ behaviour (especially learning); stress and its effect on animals’ reactions; different forms of animal behaviour(especially in uncharacteristic situations etc.), dealing with animals(during transport, etc.)Recommended literature:
