Student understands human genome specific and methods applied in the human genetics; he understands the causes of human genetic disorders and the possibility of their treatment and also practical using of the human molecular genetics.Competences:
Passing the course permits working in diagnostic laboratory as well as conducting genetic research.

Human genome build, research methods applied in human genetics - differences in relation to methods used different organisms genetic analysis. Molecular basis of the human genetic disorders - methods of detecting. Various human population-specific genetic disorders. Possibility of the treatment of genetic diseases. Different practical applications of the molecular genetics in human - fertilization in vitro, prenatal diagnosis, forensic medicine.Recommended literature:

Checking knowledge before each exercise, completion of laboratory training after semester, oral exam, minimum 60% of knowledge to pass. Final grade will be sum of 50% exam and 50% practical training result.Comment:
