In area of knowledge:
1. Student knows the basic rights and issues of the basics of genetics, including classical genetics, cytogenetics, genetics of the process of forming gender, population genetics and quantitative traits.
In area of skills student:
1. Student is able to explain and analyze the genetic phenomena and issues related to inheritance according to Mendel's inheritance (also in the features of linked and related to the sex), and autosomal-linked traits.Competences:

Genetic determination of the characteristics of the organisms, inheritance and variability in quality and quantity, mutagenic agents, classical genetics, general and molecular animals genetics, introduction to population genetics and animal breeding.Recommended literature:
